God’s Promises to You in Tough Times.

The scripture says many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

In life, we face many tough challenges, but God assures us of His presence.

In my post today, I share 7 powerful bible verses that speak of God’s solemn promise to you when you pass through tough patches in life. This year, you can trust that no matter what comes your way, these promises will hold.

These are God’s Promises to You in Tough Times.

1- I will Stand by you.

When your choices put you on a lonely path and you alone must face the music at this very moment.

God says,

When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. Psalm 91:15.

2- I will hold your hands.

When you feel you are slowly drifting away, life itself is losing its grip on you. And you are losing your grip on all that you care about.

God says,

For I, the LORD your God will hold your right hand, saying to you, Fear not, I will help you. Isaiah 41: 13.

3. I will fight your fights.

When your battles appear bigger than you.

God says,

The LORD will fight for you, while you keep silent. Exodus 14:14.

4. I will give you strength.

Sometimes you do all you can do, but your strength is just not enough. You simply can’t cope because the situation is bigger than you.

God says,

Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you. Isaiah 41: 10.

5. I will wipe your tears.

When no amount of comfort and words of consolation could dry those eyes.

God says,

And I will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4.

6. I will be the one light shining when every other light is out.

At that moment, when all you wish for is a small ray of light shining through your darkness, a little ray of hope hinting all will be well.

God says,

Your days of grief will come to an end. I, the LORD, will be your eternal light, more lasting than the sun and moon. Isaiah 60:20.

7. I will not let you down.

When all else has failed.

God says,

For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. Joshua 1:5b.

When you go through rough patches in life, remember that God will never leave you nor forsake you. He is the ever-present help we need in times of trouble.

Trust in His love and find solace in His unwavering presence.
